There are many available different ways to obtain closure for environmentally impacted Sites. One of the quickest and proven methods, albeit perceived to be an expensive option, is thermal remediation. Electric Resistance Heating (ERH) is a method of remediation that was used at a Site in central Indiana in an effort to clean up both soil and groundwater grossly contaminated with Tetrachloroethylene (PCE) and breakdown products. This webinar will entail a Case Study of the Site including background information, remediation alternatives that were evaluated, the installation and operation of the ERH, and the eventual closure of the Site.
