Hospitals and healthcare facilities who plan to pursue or maintain Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) must complete unscheduled on-site surveys that include an environment of care session that focuses on six areas including life safety and environmental compliance. In this webinar, August Mack will provide an overview of various JCAHO and EPA compliance requirements that healthcare facilities may be responsible for relative to air, waste, pharmaceutical and safety topics. As you will find out in the webinar, the U.S. EPA continues their enforcement initiative aimed at hospitals and healthcare facilities to meet environmental compliance regulations.
