Holiday Letter from the President
by Geoff Glanders

With the holidays approaching, we would like to thank our clients for your continued patronage. The long-term client relationships we have been able to develop and cultivate over the past 29 years have truly made August Mack Environmental what it is today. In fact, we still actively work with many of the clients from our first years of operation. We are deeply appreciative of the trust our clients have put in us. Looking forward, we are excited for the future at August Mack and will continue our promise to offer exceptional expertise, innovative ideas, and our commitment to you.

Another consistent component of our business throughout our history has been August Mack’s commitment to the community. A highlight of this year was our 29th annual United Way workplace campaign in October, where our employees worked together to raise money in support of the United Way and its mission to help people learn more, earn more, and lead safe and healthy lives. As a company, we were able to not only surpass our fundraising goal, but also raise a record-breaking amount for the United Way. We are compelled to do this each year as we so strongly believe in our responsibility to help make an impact in our communities.

For our clients, August Mack has always strived to provide opportunities for them to gain a better understanding on environmental issues and challenges. One way we do this is through our webinar program. This year marked the 12th year of our webinar program. Each year, registration numbers increase, but this year has been exceptionally special, as we will hit a new record of over 3,000 individuals who will have signed up for our presentations.  In a similar effort, we have provided a number of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) events to a large number of attorneys. The feedback we continue to receive is very positive thus we look forward to continuing all of these efforts.

The year 2017 has been great, in due to you, our clients!  As we look ahead to the coming year, whether we are working hard to provide you with solutions to your environmental issues or serving our community, August Mack will continue to be committed to doing and being the best that we can. Thank you again for your business and support. Have a happy holiday season!
